My hurst core ss arrived with the wrong knob, I'm looking at 4-8 weeks lead time to get the white knob I wanted. They only have the logo imprinted ones in stock now.

So what the heck, I'll give it a shot. If anyone has a white engraved knob they want to trade for a new unused black knob, I'll pay shipping both ways. I'd need pictures and assurance it hasn't been used to hammer nails or anything silly like that. The new black knob has the engraved 6 speed shift pattern, I'd want the same engraving on the white one.

Pics. I’m sure their site has better ones. But if you have a white one, it’s the same, except black.

Dang that thing is nice! I have a white one that is hammered (its actually spider cracking at the lock nut area) so trade is out but if you decide to sell I'm in.

No viable trade options came through, tomorrow I'll probably install the shifter, if the stock knob fit's, I'll put it on for now & wait for hurst to get the engraved white knob in stock. If stock doesn't fit, I'll stick the black one on or maybe find a crappy aftermarket one to fit. With corona shutting down most businesses, I doubt I'll find one.

Rain shut down plans to install today. Maybe next weekend, or if work sends me home due to corona.

I pulled the stock knob off to see if it fits the new hurst lever, no. Stock lever is much smaller diameter, hurst is 3/8"-16. I looked at O'Reilly's and Pep boy's, they both only have the universal fit type with the "ready to fail" plastic sleeve, not doing that.
