If you were talking about mine they were like 150 front and rear so 300 total. They aren’t bad tho and I’m sure I could get them a little tighter in places.

Those are sweet bridge! Wish had known about those a while back, I made something similar for my old 2wd tacoma from fabric I bought at Joannes fabrics. What a huge pain that was cutting, sewing..

RP as others have mentioned Wet Okoles are great, Katzkin is a nice leather option. I personally would save an extra 3-400 and get a pair of bucket seats from corbeau especially since a lot of them are designed for five point harnesses. Covers are just that, covers, and will only marginally improve ride comfort.

 

Can you post a photo of the rear seats folded down so we can see how they wrap around /attach behind?

 

The fronts are a little different, but it’s basically S hooks you crimp to hold each side together

How rough is the "Durable tweed fabric"? I'm looking for something to absorb dirt/sand/moisture from the dog constantly sitting on the seat which these seem like they would work, but I'm wondering if I'll be annoyed in the summertime when I'm wearing shorts and my skin is directly on the tweed.

@JasonLee I have to do an hour or two of driving this morning, I'll do a t-shirt and see if it's itchy or anything, I don't think it will be based on the installation. My main reason for getting them was to keep the random dirt/grease and dog out too. I think they will do that. Will update later this afternoon after I get some decent time in them.

@JasonLee So they aren't 1000 thread count silk sheets, but they are fine and plenty comfortable. I'm guessing they will get a little softer once I sit in em for a few hours too. If they hold up, I'll give them a 8.5/9 out of 10 stars.

 

I ordered a set of Marathon for my 01 few weeks ago, arrived Wednesday. They fit really well, had to make a slit to get over the headrest base, but the instructions called that out. Although expensive, I went with Marathon because I know of 2 other sets with 10 and 15 years on them, both in great shape after all that time, just a little fading.

 

They look good!

 

Why is your headrest on backwards?

 

My 18 year old son just bought a 2002 4 X 4 Off Road (rear diff locker) xtra cab from a very close friend of mine...my friend was the original owner and did a ton of work to the vehicle before he sold it to my son. The little truck is super clean - in and out - so my son needed to cover the seats, as he gets dirty often (LOL). I have Carhartts in my 2019 Off Road and my son likes them a lot...so I bought him a set for his front seats. I paid around 200 shipped from real truck.com. We own a horse farm on a river and these covers really repel water and dirt and they wash well too.

 

I have the gray Carnhartts for my 98. They definitely arent cheap but they seem to work well.

 

just fyi, i got me some 4runner seats so iv got the stock 60/40 available for pickup free.

 

The truck is so fast it bent the headrest back.
Seriously, the angle forward gets on my nerves so I flip them around. I use them to hang stuff, not for that I would remove...
