I get mine installed in my driveway. Come on over. It's not difficult. We can at least get your belly protected. Haven't done a gas tank skid, so I'm not familiar with the process.

EDIT: Just realized your post is from January. If you still haven't done your skids, the offer still stands.

What’s the deal with Folsom Lake? Are we allowed to wheel around there?
Looking it up online yields a mixed bag

If you get stuck it's a big fine. It used to be allowed back in the day not sure anymore I avoid that place.

I remember all the idiots going out a few years back and doing doughnuts or trying to "mud" out there. Fat fines where being issued

    damn, that’s a bummer

any trails around here that has decent signal?
I want to get out of the house, but would rather have some phone signal in case we get stuck. Also wife is still kind of working so we need the phone signal while out on the trail

I should note that I'm pretty new to this with a stock height sr5 4x4. Only thing i did to it was add some AT tires

Rock garden sounds expensive to me haha

Definitely double check with the Ranger on site but I believe you are allowed to "drive" to fishing spots. There are trucks all over the shore line. There are some pretty cool rock piles out there that could be fun for sure. If you are being respectful/responsible I think you are fine. Just my .02. ask the guy in the toll booth. I'm not a lawyer, just a guy stuck in his house on TW avoiding work!

I decided to give Stellar Built another try, and they have been excellent.
Mine was a rack they hadn't installed, so perhaps that's why the quote was so high, I can't say for sure.
Yesterday, they put in a leaf pack and sliders and did a great job.
Fairly priced, and they went to bat for me on an Icon leaf pack that did not fit.

Thank you so much. They're installed now.

Finally got the sliders on as well. Ready to disappear. LOL

Definitely, very fair. And I since went back to SB for some installs and they have been priced fairly and did excellent work.
