So a chunk of folks got on this call using their videos to say hi and some mr grumpy comes on and says how apparently they were asked not to do that because it eats up the bandwidth for everyone else having meetings. Seriously it was like 5 people out of 70... I'm not hoping on video but it was pretty funny to see a guy in his living room introduce his two cats and apparently a bunny off camera.

These are some weird times that lay ahead.

 

I think we should get pic of bunny.

 

If I knew the guy I would ask but I have no idea who half of these people are. (It's not a real meeting, just informational and sort of come if you can/want)

 

If anyone has anything on auto bill pay. You might want to have that stopped for now.

 

Customer on phone: "Would you be able to tell me if you have toilet paper in stock?"
Me: "No, we are currently out"
Customer on phone: "Well would you be able to connect me to somone who would know?"
Me: "......sure"

 

I had a regular customer come in our store Tuesday and stuck his head in the door and said "bread man come yet" I said no. He walks in where the bread should be and looks and says "no, you still out". I said yerp. He was in the day before as well.

Same guy came in last year after daylight savings time ended and says "the days are getting longer" I said nope, still 24 hours in a day.

I don't deal well with people like my wife does, lol.

 

I support this. I don't know how people do it. Hell, I don't know how I'm doing it. Especially now that everyone has ramped up their shit. I thought customer service would help improve my tolerance and people skills. Hard no.

I'll throw another one in for shits and giggles. Customer called this morning, I picked up the phone and they asked if we were still open. Nope, they just have me here to answer the phone

 

Our store is small in a small town, we know 95% of the people by name who come in. This last week we have seen numerous new faces. A lady came in Monday and ask for butter, she went to what we have and said "no it's margarine" then she proceeded to say "I've gotten gas here before but never been in" which I know is a lie........we don't have pay at the pump

 

If you don't have money coming in, the auto withdrawal is going cause NSF fees and reek havoc in your account.
