I was going to sell all mine and blow it all on cocaine and ammo so I know I'll have a good time when shit hits the fan.

In reality we actually bought some stuff while it was low. Had the same thought as you.

I'm probably short on TP but did re-up dog food for now about 2 months, we have a planned Amazon delivery 4 Apr but who knows if that will actually happen now :|

I work Aero and Defense contractor/mfg. We're considered essential, should they issue a bunker down order. So. That's fun.

I was looking forward to the paid time off until I received the notification that I was an essential employee at an essential business. I don't want to hear the word essential again.

    Same.
We're considered essential, but because we're not that busy they're cutting everybody's hours. But rather than staggering our days off and having us work our normal schedule for 4 days instead of 5, they're just knocking 2 hours off of each day's work. So I've still got to show up 5 days a week, which means that my commuting/vehicle expenses are still the same. But since they're limiting us to 40 hours instead of the normal 52 I'm basically losing 1/4 of my check each week for the foreseeable future.

On the one hand, I'm glad to still be employed, with so many people getting laid off. On the other hand, if I'd been laid off I could: A) Limit my exposure by staying at home, & B) Still make pretty much the same as I'll be making with my reduced hours, but without the expense of commuting or the hassle of spending 5 days a week in the office.

Yeah today is the first day not going into the plant at all. Which it's nice to see other people than my wife and dog. They're great, but just seeing people is nice. But it doesn't make any sense, I work from home and still go to the office anyway and am realistically just as likely to expose/be exposed? It's nice to have the work from home experience though.

My work came to a complete halt. No work for the next 2 months. I work in the corporate A/V industry and the first thing companies cut is meetings especially with what is going on and no gatherings of more then 10 people. So am expecting to get hit with at least furlough if not completely laid off in the next few weeks. Oh well. I been wanting to get into something different for a while. Come Monday, I am dusting off the resume and update that.

We can't really operate our business most likely until about may. I've just been burning a lot of brush and getting the grounds cleaned up. Since we have the extra time and no snow this year I'm going to do a big woods cleaning on about 3 acres I have walking trails. Old logging, deadfall etc... I want to clean it up and then I'm going to clear out all the brush and have myself a nice open woods. Now that it's been 10-15 years since it was logged the trees are filling in the gaps and I'm hoping the little shit won't really come back once I get it down.

I did about an acre or a little more of it last year and it really looks good. So I want as much of our property like that as possible. Its a lot of work, but hey, we got the time this year. And little by little turns into a lot after a few months.

Would rather be making money, but it will make our woods nicer for a long, long time and be worth it. Got a couple guys who were lifties with me this winter, who might need some work, so I'm gonna hire them to help out for a few days. Just hoping this doesn't go past April as far as shutting everything down.
