Hope you guys had followed my recommendation to buy some BQI stock. was at $4.00 NOW trading at $7......This stock will go to 20,40, 100 over time as long as things stay the same or better with the market!

Just slow down to 55mph and watch the mpg's rise. I did a test on a 3500 mile road trip with my 27ft 6000# camper in tow through the mountains of new england. Putting in premium and slowing down to 55 from 70 increased my mileage from 9mpg to 13mpg. I would have saved $400 on the entire trip if I drove 55mph, enough to buy that front brush guard I've been wanting...

I mentioned this in my intro but figured it would have relevance here.
I bought mine yesterday. It had 18 miles on it when I drove it off the lot.

The ride back was 126 miles. Used a little less than 1/4 of a tank. That's 25 MPG roughly. That's an efficient V6. The EPA can gargle my marbles.

It was all interstate driving. I drive with a decently light foot but I kept it between 65-70 the whole trip.

I said 65-70... Why edit my quote haha?

I'm sure the 55mph range would do better, but I was just talking about what I got.

Yeah I got your point after rereading haha. I'm slow on the uptake.

Oh and thanks, I've congratulated myself several times over the last 24 hours, but it's always good to hear otherwise.

I am now getting between 20-22mpg mixed driving just by being easier off the line and staying around 65MPH when on the highway.

    Nice 6spd,V6, very solid truck
None currently, but I would like a better sounding exhaust and perhaps a cold air pack and some color coded step bars
I average close to 20mpg , except in the middle of winter when the temps are in the 10deg. Gas mileage is always better in the warmer months . Operating in 4 wheel drive doesn't help.

I average about 70mph on the highway with my 6spd standard and 21mpg is the max I ever get . Truck runs real good, smooth idle etc., never any problems. I would love to see the mileage jump to 22-23 while on the highway.

    BUILT, not bought...
I consistently get 19.5 combined city / highway.

Tonneau cover dropped me down to 17.5. YUCK.

FYI- I drive everyhwere with my windows down.
