    To be honest it rides pretty nice onroad. Firm but planted and little bounce effect. It is a touch too stiff offroad for my taste unless I am loaded with the RTT and gear on top of the cap. With the weight it is great. I think I am dropping down to option 2 as I don't like the height and being my daily driver 90% of the time I am without the extra weight.

    Most of my wheeling is in the mammoth and big bear areas or anza dessert style. I feel that it "pushes" too much on dips and over obstacles. Doesn't "soak up" stuff as much as i'd like and I think having only the 600# springs up front with a decent amount of weight isn't the right balance front to back.

    I've have a couple times with a 18' travel trailer. I'm not exactly sure of the weight but it was probably around 3500 lbs.
    I think the 2nd stage setting was perfect. The truck didn't squat too much and pretty much leveled out.
    My shocks are ADS 2.5's with adjusters on setting 5.

    I have the exact same setup, but just installed airbags for the trailer (same weight) and some of the wood loads I carry (900lbs +/-). I will be interested to see how they perform.

    I'm curious how it performs too. I'd think about something similar if I towed more but wouldn't want to sacrifice offroad ride as I think the airbags would stiffen the ride quite a bit.

    I had no idea something like that was available. Very cool. Do you just run the minimum 5 psi when you don't need the bags?

    Fluid film worked for a while. Late last year I did a big scoop of grease between each leaf on the pad front and back (applied with a suspension under full droop and a big flat blade screwdriver). That seems to have worked well so far. But they definitely arent as quiet as stock

    Try industrial quality moly chain lube. We use it at work and it doesn't wash off like Fluid Film.

    I just got my Icon RXT leaf pack installed. Man, what a gigantic difference. I had a 3 leaf progressive add a leaf with the factory overload leaf taken out. I thought that suspension was pretty good. I can’t believe how much better these are for ride comfort. My rear has much more articulation too. I didn’t think it would be that much of a difference.
