Thanks for all the orders so far! End of next week will be the last time the pre-order pricing is available, so if you are on the fence now is the time

maybe you guys could use small magnets to detach and attach the panel if necessary? and possibly create better air flow for cooling if you were to mount it on the roof of course, for those with trd pro hood scoops.

I think an attachable and detachable panel would be something to look into considering harsh weather situations, like hail...
    are they impact rated yet?

We tossed around the idea of magnets but in the end it didn't make sense for the product. We can't trust magnets at highway speeds, the panels would be very easy to steal and many hoods are aluminum these days.

We've had the panels in M&M sized hail and there was no damage. The panels are very impact resistant, the technology has actually be adapted from the marine industry where it is used as decking on sailboats.

If we have a solar panel for our skewps, then you can recycle power by having your light bar on!
    Double the benefits!

Our hoods are in hot demand.

Shipping notification came through today! Good on ya for beating your estimated delivery date, that kind of thing is all too rare in the Tacoma aftermarket world.

Sub'd to watch, love this concept, saw a write up on something similar on a Lexus in Petersen's 4Wheel and Off Road.

Too many things to purchase for my truck :spending:

The first lucky customers have been receiving their VSS Systems. Here is one we had in the shop for an install last week.

We have extended the pre-order pricing until our next shipment arrives. We plan to be shipping out the next shipment in April. Feel free to reach out with any questions! Cheers,

What is the battery charging voltage on the MPPT? I am curious if it will provide the optimal charging voltage for an AGM battery.

We program the charge controller to be optimized for AGM battery's. They will also work fine for liguid gel as the difference in voltage is 0.1V

So now that I’ve been locked down and it warmed up a bit, I finally got my panel installed. It is feeding into an off grid engineering dual battery system with a Redarc BCDC1225D managing charging from the alternator and panel. I installed some MC4 connectors on the Redarc inputs, glued down the panel, and it fired right up. I’m amazed at how thin the thing is! Great job Cascadia.
