No gym today. Instead got a little me time away from the in-laws (and wife) and drove 8hrs to go down to SOS Concepts to pick up my high clearance bumper. Another day off from lifting tomorrow while I install it. Pretty stoked as it got done in half the time he quoted me and I was worried it was going to come when the baby got here.

We also locked our rate on our new mortgage today at 3.5% so that was pretty sweet. My last house was 4.65%

Well Chicago has shelter in place until April 7th so not holding my breath for the gym to reopen. Working from home so I'm stuck inside all day. My goal is just doing 300 push ups, 100 pull ups (playground across the street), and a 2 mile run every day. Enough to keep me sane.

New bumper is still strapped down in the bed. I’ll get some tomorrow I’m sure while we are installing. I have the matching front already

Front bumper was paid for by Geico and the rear by Farm Bureau. Gotta love insurance :p

The front bumper was the beneficiary of this old lady in that neighborhood who was on the HOA board. She would slowly drive around the neighborhood and write citations for the dumbest of things. One night she was doing her think and backed in to the truck as it was parked (exactly where it is in that picture). Insurance quotes $3k of damage even though it was barely a scratch. So I had them cut me a check and I got some armor.

Rear bumper is a different story. I got sideswiped in my Prius one morning and insurance quoted $4k of damage. It’s just a dent above the front fender and it’s also just a Prius so I buffed it and touched up the paint and pocketed the insurance check and upgraded the truck instead :D

All my hits were hit and runs so it would be all personal claims. :(

Glad you got to benefit from that!

I’m using my TM quite a bit. Love that thing. But anyone else not motivated to workout at home?

If I had all the equipment I might but I don’t. I just can’t bring myself to do P90X right now.

Same. Push ups and pull ups get boring. Just can’t get in the same mental zone as clanking iron and loud music

Working out at home is not the same as going to the gym and having a different space. The ambiance is not the same lol

Like, how much weight was I using when it happened? Happened on an easy warmup single at 360. No clue what happened.
