    Good morning :pccoffee:

Tomorrow morning going to go out and try the grocery stores. Go on call for a week starting Monday so work let me off yesterday evening to get rested up after the last week and a half. Coworker is a retired Sr. Chief and said it was because I am an old man and need my rest, he turned 65 couple of weeks ago and is 3 years older than me. The bastage LOL.

Got a dozen ribeyes need to freeze today and took out a pork butt and rack of baby back ribs to smoke this weekend. Smoked some wings last night. Picked up a new Weber 26" kettle that came last week and needed to break it in. Because 3 22" kettles weren't enough LOL.

Supposed to get up to 35 today is 24 right now. But high of 40 starting tomorrow and next week.

Got an email from work last night. Going to be business as usual (or not since most everyone is working from home) until the city/county/state demands that non-essential businesses close. Once that happens we'll have 2 weeks of pay then nothing. No pay, no health insurance past the 2 week mark. We'll all be classified as laid off until this whole mess blows over. Hoping that our scattered population here helps to end this thing and we dont get to that point but if we do its going to be interesting. Financially I'll be fine, I have a decent amount of money stashed away. I was hoping to spend it on a camper but if I have to use it for living expenses I guess that'll do. Having no insurance worries me the most.

Waiting to see how routine medical is going to go. I've got about 2 1/2 months worth of "maintenance meds" and will be due for labs. Waiting to see if they're going to reissue without the labs...not that mine change all that much but there may be people more critical.

thats an option. but i know its expensive as hell. might ask if we have an option to keep our current policy if we pay the premium including what would have been paid for by my employer.

    exactly

Hey Chief Mike. We keep getting little snows (light one now) but our temps are stable upper 20s at night into 30s during the day. Driveway is 33% clear thanks to daily melt off, thankful for that southern exposure. Backyard will likely be a swamp for a few weeks at some point during break up.

other than my allergy shots I don't have any medical expense to speak of. and my shots will be wrapping up in May so....
I'm just worried that if I do get sick or get in an accident I'm totally screwed.

We stopped seeing anything that is not life threatening last week. And no visitors. Got a call Thursday that my blood tests next week have been cancelled.

Some have said that it is a good idea to have a 90 day supply of all your meds on hand right now. Not saying that is official, but enough people have told me that I have placed orders for them yesterday. Having lost a lot of weight and changing my diet over the last couple of months would prefer that I have the lab work done first but not going to push it.

Hey Baby Sister. Really hope you find an option to keep coverage. That's a stress you don't need.
