Well I lucked up and got some brake lines that someone didn't want from the GB and they are awesome. I got a set made for a 6" lift which is exactly what I needed. Well I got them installed last night and got all the fluid flushed. Well tonight I got to test them out. My wife and I went to a fall festival put on by our church and on the way home I had a deer run out in front of me when I was running 55mph. I missed the deer. The brakes didn't feel mushy at all. The truck slowed super fast. Great lines. Thanks again OCTaco.

I would like a set of the dark blue for my stock height Tacoma. Do these come with the new fittings? Are new fittings required?

Installed mine today. It was a PITA!! Bled lines RR, RL, FR, FL. Did it twice while filling fluid cylinder. Worked great with firmer brakes for 5 minutes then back to spongy. Any ideas??

You might have air in your lines. Happy bleeding.

I bled them twice. No air coming out. Just fluid.

After installing lines, a friend and myself (me under the truck) started the process. Starting with the rear right, opened valve/closed valve when've pumped brakes til it was just fluid coming out. Then moved on to rear left, front right, front left. Brakes were firmer. Let truck sit for five minutes. Repeated process again. Now brakes just go down about 75% then you start stopping. Any ideas?? FYI I have aftermarket pads and slotted/drilled rotors which worked great when installed two years ago. Pads are still good. I checked yesterday.

I'd like to know the answer too. Non of us wants to go thru all that work and wind up with the same or worst brakes then B 4.

That's a shame. I hope someone on TW gets to the bottom of this.

    Brandon,
There are several different reasons why your brakes are spungy(er). Some how air is getting into your brake system.
    It could be:
    1. A Loose valve
    2. A Bad master cylinder
    3. You could have air in your ABS pump.
    4. The lines may have been installed incorrectly
    5. etc...
Unfortunately there is no way to diagnose your truck by simpling stating the symptoms. Best thing would be to take your truck into a ASE certified mechanic and have him check it out.
If there's anything I can do for you let me know.
    JP
