This thread seems to have the best info I’ve found on the subject of alignments and getting the most clearance in the front fender well. So in a nutshell, if I want more clearance at the rear of the front fender well, just tell the alignment tech to move the tire away from the rear of the fender? I want to keep the good steering and tracking that I have now. Any specific pointers to tell the tech?

Its unlikely any alignment tech is going to understand what's going on. You might get lucky and get one that knows how it all works but don't count on it. Just go with "I want as much caster as possible".

I did that and it didn’t work. The tech I used had a bunch of experience with aftermarket suspension. He just doesn’t have any or much with the Taco.

Ideally your front cam tabs would face outward but each alignment is slightly different

I know nothing about alignments. The only additional info I can give you guys is that I’ve had 3 alignments over the past year.
First one was when I got the Bilstein/OME lift about a year ago. The second one was after I got 33” tires about 3 months ago, and the third was a few days ago after I changed my suspension to what I have now.

I have SPs and when I had mine done last week, I had the LCA maxed and the SP in D. Told the tech not to touch the cams. Use the SPs to adjust camber and caster if needed. I also showed him the SP spec sheet. He did and this is what it came out as. He only needed to adjust camber as I was good with 4 caster.

Drives great, very happy with the setup. Installing the 5.29 gears this weekend and doing the CM chop. Going to the Kenda 35X10.5X17 tires. I have SP UCA and Kings in the front. Have it about +2" of lift.IMG_6980.jpgIMG_6942.jpg

Anyone running JBAs with 315s? I see on their website they have an offset recommendation with 17s. Wouldn’t it be the same offset for 16s?

We’re about to have the same setup! Got those tires and UCA’s going on.

I still don’t completely understand SPC control arms though. Do you first set the lowers cams, than adjust through the UCA?

Set lower cams for max castor and adjust the alignment with the upper control arm

I know tacomabeast runs eibach pro truck lift with stock uca’s and 315’s idk if he has done any trimming or what. Probably a cmc. I just watched his last video on the tom woods custom one piece drive shafts and ive got to say, im probably going to snag one here soon
