Amazon Warehouse I presume? That place has some awesome deals. I bought some struts for Taco at buy 1 unopened, one damaged, 2 for the price of one. Had to swap the cap on the damaged one since someone ruined threads on all three studs, but for 15 minutes work, it was a free strut. The old strut cap will work just as well as a new one.

I bought a Reese hitch about a month ago for about $80.00, original price $130. Paint scratch. Who cares! Rattle can. I'd say typically 30-50% off for generally package damage or some minor cosmetic or missing hardware for auto parts is the normal situation.

Yes Amazon Warehouse. Where I got my $140 Jensen head unit that I am thrilled with for $85 too. Rear shocks were $40 each but I got them both for $20. That’s crazy. Seems like if you know what (I keep a truck shopping list) you want and you can wait and keep checking back you can score some terrific deals.

I got 10k out of my last OEM... Currently have 1 Moog and 1 OEM installed. If I ever get it back on the road I'm interested to see how they compare. If the Moog lasts a year, that will be my choice , no sense in throwing $50 extra at a part I have to swap every year.

Anyone ever have this issue with their coolant temp gauge: ONLY when headlights are on, after 20-30 minutes of driving, the gauge pegs passed H. The actual temp is not an issue, Scan Gauge has her between 187-192 constantly. I've checked the one wire sensor (replaced just in case). No issues with the connection at the sensor; and the gauge was replaced with OEM about 2 years ago for a similar issue (by the dealer). I'm thinking its a grounding issue somewhere inside with the dash. Not a huge issue as I know the temp is good to go; just have some extra time on my hands... Any thoughts would be appreciated. 2004, 3.4, TRD Off Road, Xtra Cab, 4WD.

Definitely a grounding issue, check the driver's side footwell wall grounds and the grounds on the intake plenum

That's the labor for the swap right? That didn't include all the parts did it?

It was 2.5 for parts and 3k for labor. The new gears and rear locker increased the price. But every project is different

That's awesome dude. Seriously. There has been a huge question mark on what an actual completed 4x4 swap from a shop would cost. Thanks for sharing that in general dude. Great reference price point. :cool:people will appreciate this.
And if you end up happy with the swap it could be a good idea to say who did the work for ya. Would help the members here find a good shop and help a good shop keep busy :D

Califabrication is the shop who did it. Located in Sacramento, Ca. If anyone needs fabrication jobs done I would contact Chance, He does perfect work every time.

I will and I can tell you I am real happy with the Monroe coilovers I put up front back in January. The Garage Queen is not my DD so it takes a while to form an opinion. Thanks to covid-19 it’s going to take even longer now that there’s no place to drive to.

I had the same problem and it was the rear brake light bulb. One of the filaments came loose and shorted it.
