The older I get, I find it increasingly more than just...."sometimes".

Yeah I’d definitely take a look at paintless dent repair. They can do some amazing work as long as the paint is intact.

OP! You can use a toilet plunger to take most of that out.

A paintless dent removal guy can pull that out for about 250-300, I would not take it to a body shop

For that big of a dent?
Just curious why you would do that as oppose to replacing the fender for an extra 200 dollars? Is it to save 200 dollars? If that's the case, I'd rather pay the 200 to have a new fender. Just curious what your reasoning is in case there's something I'm missing

Do you only pay if they can get it out? I just wouldn't want to pay for work that doesn't turn out nice then a body shop as well

youll have to either send them a picture and get their opinion, or drive the truck to them so they can see it. You wont know much until you call them and discuss this with them, but I do know they may want to charge you something for their time if they drive to your location. Make sure you pick a good one, with Google reviews or something like that. Where are you?

Sweet I'll look into this. It sounds like it would definitely be an easier process and not going through insurance is a definite plus. I'm in the Portland area of Oregon

Assuming the difference between damage and deductible is small enough to justify the price of fabrication, delivery, prep and assembly.

I live in Vancouver, the guy I recommend is in LaCenter, small world. I'll send you a message. He is awesome. He removed every single door ding and dent from my buddys 97 F350 truck and removed a really weird dent in the windshield pillar of my Mustang GT. He has awesome reviews on the net.

Sucks big time. A few years ago I parked at a downtown Ft Worth parking lot and I purposely went way to the very back with no others parked within 15 yards. Came back two hours later to find a big ass hole in my drivers side rear door. Some guy parked right next to me and one of his kids must have exited the rear door without regard (as all kids will do) $500 and two days with a shitty rental car later and it was all back to normal. I guess it happens, but I always marvel at the 10 year old vehicle with pristine metal.

All joking aside. I can't even imagine inadvertently doing damage to someone else's property and not sitting there until I was able to meet them, shake their hand, apologize, call the police and exchange whatever info was needed. I simply can not process walking away and pretending it didn’t happen.
