It was on this day in 2009, my wife and I brought our Newfoundland pup home. 8 weeks, she grew quite a bit. The sweetest, most intelligent dog I’ve had.

She’s since passed away but thought with this being the first day of Spring and all the crappiness going around, this might be a good time to post her pic here.

    This pic was taken 3/20/09.

Newfs are awesome dogs. Sweetest, kindest dogs ever. Stinky, slobbery, double coat shedding sons of guns. You could not ask for a better companion ever. We lost our sweet Martha 23 years ago but she still lives in our hearts. Love your pic, thanks for sharing.!

I'm spending the weekend pulling weeds in the front yard. Jake, on the other hand, has this "shelter in place" thing nailed.

    Yeah.
So today we had to say goodbye to Milo as he embarks on his frolic across the Rainbow Bridge. He was a tough and sweet little guy, punched above his weight for sure. He had a good, long life, growing up with my daughters. Still looked like a puppy.

RIP, buddy. See you on the other side some day.

A lot of friends are losing their pups lately. It's certainly a difficult time we face and to lose a beloved pet at the same time? Idk.
Milo, say hello to Cali when you get there and enjoy a world free from pain. RIP little puppy dog.
