I've put five hundred miles on mine so far. Silky smooth and zero noise. Couldn't be happier.

I thought somebody told me years ago the chirping issue was only on the 05-08 years. Wow, I am disappointed. I have been looking at 12-15 models. My son had a 2006, 6 speed and had the problem. Other then the gear ratio between 1st & 2nd...I really liked it. Ok, thanks!

It’s a roll of dice from what I understand. Some will experience it some never will.

I have a 2015 with 100,000km and no issues, have the fix sitting on the self incase. Really do think it’s a random problem not all will have.

    My shit is all stock.
I pulled the trans out today.

Here’s the mess inside the bell housing from the leaking Clutchmasters hydro bearing.

Replacement oring is a round oring vs. the square seal that it was originally built with.

The outer dust/wipe seal is just that. No fluid sealing happening at that point.

Machine shop still has my flywheel. Hope to have it back tomorrow morning.

I also had a shorter pressure line made. No pics yet.

No, it was definitely square on purpose.

Yes, I did call Kevin when I got it all apart. He assured me that the two styles are interchangeable.

Looking at the old one; There’s no obvious problem with it. Wasn’t twisted or pinched.
It went right back together with the new, round o-ring no problem.

How many miles on it? I just did my new install about 3 weeks ago or so. No issues with it yet.

I'm about 3500 now I'll keep an eye on it. It freaks me out not having a solid unit in there.

I dunno what I could’ve done to mess this up. Everything else in there looks great. The clutch itself is fine. By looking at the disk, it’s not even fully broken in.

    I guess I’m just “lucky”

In mine I started with the pedal adjustment all the way at the floor and slowly brought it only to half way. Measuring the fluid in the master cylinder and the area of the CM hydro bearing the master could easily over fill the bearing. I hate a peddle at half but that's where it runs best.

interesting, maybe they stopped using the square ones because of leaking issues like you had

    Random pics from re-install.

The disk and pressure plate showed basically zero wear.

Since my flywheel has been machined a couple of times, I went with a .060” shim behind the bearing. It was the slimmest in the shim kit that Kevin sent. I like the spacing I ended up with. This pic was taken before any hydraulic pressure had been applied (bearing fully seated)

    A1397179-A786-43BA-AC95-65A0124A9ABF.jpg

Here’s the shorter pressure line that I had made. It connects directly to where the OE hardline would normally connect to the damper/accumulator. This pic was taken before I wrapped these lines in a split piece of heater hose to protect them and to prevent any vibrations. I then covered them with the cover plate that lives here.

    92EFCE02-D374-4EE4-97C6-7E2E2BC1146C.jpg

I’ve only driven it a few miles since. First impression is that the clutch reacts a bit quicker with the shorter pressure line. Before, with the super long pressure line, the pedal was very slow to come back up.
