Since you don't have a TRD Off Road, did you order new fuel tank straps with studs for the tank skid?

Too late today. Not even sure if they are open at all due to corona. I was going to get a set of bolts, including longer and smaller size too. But I think I need to tap those two holes

you sure it's not a thick sticker or something that has to be simply punched?
Tapping and threading seem to be over kill.
there was some locations on mine i had to use a screwdriver to pierce a hole through a vinyl sticker to pass a bolt through the frame.

the 2 covers to the left there

If there is something, it would be some type of a plug maybe, if there was a sticker it would have been destroyed by now. This job would have been so easy if I had a way to hoist the truck up...

The threaded holes are there like your off-road. Because they are not used on the Sport models they get rusty and fill up with grit, etc. You're not taping new holes. Just cleaning out the ones that are there. I had to do the same thing when I added my TRD Pro skid plate.

I like it a lot, smoother ride. It's basically 2.5 Elkas vs 2.0 Fox, can't compare them really beside the fact Elkas going to be better.

2.0s are more comparable to 6112s

This chopping madness must end... :sawzall:

Got to make it look SEMA look worthy :spy:

Yes hard to compare 2.5 to 2.0's for sure. Elka on the back as well? Like the quality of the Elka's?
