Went deep into Yacolt Burn today. Thankfully the road conditions were very good since I was alone.

I would agree. With good tires, you should be able to get around. There will be some situations were you’ll have a harder time like up hill and off camber. But don’t let that stop you from getting out.
I think there is a YouTube channel called softroading, believe the guy is from southern Oregon. Has some good videos and shows lots of country he explores. He does it in a built Subaru. So it might be worth checking out if you haven’t already.

So anyone planning on going out this weekend? Or is the Virus keeping everyone pretty much at home? It’s been a crazy week no doubt.

I was planning on it but I have to stick around to sell my bed rack on Saturday and I have more wood cutting on Sunday. Hopefully next weekend for me.

Maybe we should just start planning for a group run next weekend?

Haven't made any plans yet. The current situation has most everything on hold for the moment.

I talked to @C41n yesterday and seems they are doing ok. He just isn't as active on here for right now. I'm sure he will chime in.

Glad you have been in touch with him.
These are interesting times, it’s a challenge balancing what is an appropriate response. With kids, and nothing open, getting into the woods and exploring has been a good option.

That is, if they don't issue a stay at home mandate and/or close the OR/WA border. Ha

I highly doubt that they’ll close the Or/Wa border since the Supply Chain for Vantucky all runs thru PDX. It would be stupid cutting off supplies to Southern Washington.

Yeah I certainly hope they don't try that.

Although I wouldn’t mind if the Southern border into Kalifornia was locked down. Lol
