I had to go out today and was not thrilled one bit at doing so . Pissed actually. One store for propane and a garden center. The other to get groceries for my sick/ elderly in-laws. Got a lot of supplies but wtf...
Wife’s heating pad ( was mine) crapped out . Wife declared that she needs to go to Walgreens and pick one up. I said hell no ! Fire up the puter and order one. I’ve had it with stores and mobs

I have a new , still in the box generator. 4,500. Enough to keep my kitchen , living room and garage if needed.
I’ve had this going on three years

@SweetT , For a Crippled old man, I'm doing good. I spent the day cleaning my 75 gallon Aquarium, which I've neglected for the last several months. I mean, this thing was nasty dirty. Thank God my Brother in law helped me out. My sister is shocked as how clean it is now, with the glass all clean and all the crap that was floating in the water is now gone. Now I just need to get back into a regular routine and keep it this way. Going to add some new fish in the next couple of weeks after I do some more reading. Hope everyone is staying safe.

small edit here, according to my sister it's been 7 months since I've given it a good cleaning. Now that my spine is on the mend, maybe I can do it more often, but it still whipped my ass and wore me out.

It grates on me too sometimes.

It's one thing when it's family or friends saying it...
...it's quite another when it's a politician or news asshole.

    Like they give a fuck.

I'd like to thank all the people who do the actual work of keeping a civilization going.

The truck drivers, plumbers, clerks, shelf stockers, factory workers, etc...
...doing their best while rich celebrity assholes stay at home virtue signaling.

    Yesterday Mrs Gritto said:
    "You know, you were right."

    I reply:
    "What about, pray tell?"
    She says:
"About wealth. You've said many times that wealth is really what working people do every day.
Watch what happens when they stop doing it."

I said to a grocery store worker that they ought to be rewarded and I admired them for their bravery . One young lady had such a great attitude and smile that it was actually up lifting . I hope that makes sense .
