You’ll sit higher in the back. But if you like that look then go for it brotha !

I had to do some minor trimming on the front left inner fender... I rubbed in reverse when my wheel was fully turned

Plzzzz just spend a bit more money and get an AAL or new leaf pack in the back. A block that big will significantly decrease ride quality and wont be too good on all of the connected parts! Also shoutout Ewa Beach, i'll be visiting next month for the first time in 11 years.

I’m planning on getting the 4” setup, I just had a couple of concerns about the wheels appropriate for this.

What is the max width wheel that I can use with the spindles? And if it is 9” wide, it just needs to have greater than 4.5” backspacing, is that correct?

Can the wheels have greater than 4.5” backspacing for any width wheel?

For example, I’m thinking of a 17x9 offset 1 and BS 5”. Would this be able to run with 4” spindles? The other option would be 17x9 offset -12 and BS 4.5”.

Are you running any spacers or is that setup clearing the spindles without spacers?

I just got my 4" maxtrac kit installed on my tacoma and now I'm thinking of running 18x9 +1 offset and 5" backspacing.

Does anyone have experience with this spec of wheels and if the backspace would fit with the spindle without spacers?

Did a thing y’all! No more wide stance! Also going back down to the 4” lift. Wheels/tires are up for grabs!

What’s your set up now? Is it still with the 4” spindle? Or spacer lift?
Why did you go down from 6.5” lift?

It’s back at the 4” spindle lift. Just took off the spacers. I liked the look of the 4” with these wheels/tires better than on the 6.5”

Would SCS ray 10s that are 17x8.5 with 4.30" backspacing work with maxtrac spindles?

Thanks for the response! Backspacing is one of those things that I understand for a while and then have to read up on it again, just wanted to make sure I didn't make a costly mistake over assuming I understood something. This is something i'm considering down the road. Are you happy with your lift? I'm pretty drawn to the maintaining my front end angles aspect of this lift.

Dude, this does look mucho better to me. Well done. Do you get any rubbing at all? I'm going to 315/75R16s very soon with 4.5" up front on 16x8 0 offsets.

    35 on.

Front: Maxtrac spindles, 5100s at 1" with stock springs, rear 3" block/aal, minor fender trimming, wheels are 16x8 +0, but spindles kickout .75", so basically makes wheels 16x8 -19mm. No rubbing street driving at all, I did hit cab mount off roading this afternoon.

Just an FYI, somewhere in the process my truck triggered a VSC error. I couldn't clear the VSC calibration and recal using the manual VSC zero calibration method. However, I took it to Firestone and they reset the VSC and did the zero cal for $25. MUCH better deal than the dealer would be.

Hey guys, just an FYI, even with 5" front lift and trimming, the tires are still hitting the cab mounts, so a CMC is going to have to happen.

I trimmed the inner fenders and flares pretty much back to body metal. You can see where the tires rub the body mount. These are 35x12.50s on 0 offset 8" wheels. I have no idea how you guys run those super deep offsets and wide wheels.

Update: CMC and trimmed hell out of fenders. So much room for activities!
