figured i would share this little gem i found on ebay

It's got road rash, top, front, side. I wasn't trying to show the rash, but get a good pic with the way the sun was at the time. Here's the one I took of the back, out of focus, but the metal bracket has a lot of grinding rash.

 

I was on the freeway in my truck once and this dude in a bagger was riding like as asshole. Splitting lanes aggressively with his loud stereo blasting and cutting people off like he owned the road. Had one of them 24” front wheel baggers with fancy heavy flake paint. I see him coming so I give him room to pass (split). He still cuts me off, hits his brakes in front of me and turns around on his bike and start yelling and cursing at me while still going at least 55 (I couldn’t hear what he was saying). Karma deity was watching that day because he hit a pothole and one of his bags fell off. He was so close I didn’t have time to react. Ran the fucker over and all I saw was a flutter of fiberglass explode behind me. I couldn’t control my laughter. Dude just looked at the back of his bike with the missing bag and sped off.

 

How would you even begin to find the owner?

 

Only the lucky few get to witness instant karma. Shit happens....

 

Reported to a local HD dealer only 1/4 mile away from where I found it, I figure it just might happen. Tried to get the word out to the local bike bars, but they're all closed for a while.

oh that sucks big time. I have a totally different system to keep mine securely and firmly attached. Someone is gonna be sick about that. Big time bummer for them. Hopefully they will appreciate your assistance and taking the extra effort to get it back to them. Nice to see riders looking out for one an other.

 

My favorite instant karma was a couple years ago but I was at a light on my cbr1000 and i had a cop SUV right behind me light turns green car in the second straight lane decided to cut me off in the middle of the intersection to make a left at the next light. I made the left behind the car that cut me off I look in my mirror cop behind me with his lights on i pull over and wave them on. Find out next day from a cop buddy the guy that cut me off had a kilo of coca in his car. Sucks to be him.

I'm always paying attention to my surroundings. And apparently this guy didn't see this big ass SUV police car two car length behind him. People are idiots

Anybody haul the bike in a short bed. Is it a tight fit?. Id be hauling a sportster chopper now maybe ither bi mko es later. This is my first time owning a short bed truck.

a lot of localized ride groups have facebook or instagram pages as well, might not hurt to do a google search

 

No worries. I made it to help people out. Obviously hauling in the bed or trailer are the only options for your bike though.

 

Bag looks like it’s off of a Harley Dyna Switchback, mounting is different on a bigger bagger. Maybe someone in here that has one can confirm.

 

I would even nominate it for a possible sticky in the motorcycle forum
