Mine has a chart in the back of the manual showing gauge and length. Your 12 gauge cable might be alright if you cut it shorter. Nice looking welds.

Did you use the same plugs or go with new ones??

It is not only the length and size it is also all the connections you have the blade connections as well as where the wire connects to the blade and the female side as well all can cause voltage drop.

No, I'm using the same big 50A receptacles. Just changed the wire gauge. It's 50 feet long so I think that was the issue. I wanted it that length so I could roll my welder outside of my garage if I had to.

Got this in the mail last night! Time to set it up and start getting back into the swing of things.

Really stoaked to finally have my own machine. I Took a few welding classes in college and spent most of my senior year on a tig welder putting together the chassis and suspension for the Baja SAE team.

Already made a fat trip to the steel yard so I’ve got material for a few projects lined up for once I get stuck at home.

nice! I have the 211, so same machine minus the dc tig functions. I’m liking it so far minus a setback with the mig gun, which miller replaced for free

kind of different from the miller 252 I came from but definitely a lot easier to move around the shop!

I use a Miller Elite. Isn't the Infinity a step above the Elite? I use the X-mode all the time when peeking through areas that block the sensors and it works pretty darn good.

Bigger window. Keeps track of how long it's been dark. Different headgear maybe?

I was shopping for a 211 but with the current rebate it was only a $100 difference for the Multimatic. Figured screw it good excuse to play with a tig torch. Realistically most of my projects are steel anyway. If I need AC tig down the line I’ll get a dedicated machine.

yea I’m at the point where I need a new dedicated tig (ac/dc)

The rebates are great! I picked up the 211 on a pretty good rebate also!

When they first came out all kinds of issues to the point some distributors quit selling them.

I thought of buying one for the large view and was talked out of it at the time just remember I have worked with all the distributors for 15 years

Not that things were not fixed one way or another under warranty it was just the hassle.

Been some time lets hope the bugs have been worked out.

3 year warranty depending on if you weld the majority of your day that is lots of ARC time.

take the digital elite home for home work. besides if the work hood dies a new one is right up the street so to speak

It is provided go for it

My wallet is now so light it might actually float this beast up on to the legs I have yet to weld. At least I hope so... I definitely can’t lift it! 59 more holes to go and then on to legs.
