Washed all the winter ickiness off of Baby Toy. First time he's been out of the garage since last Tuesday....probably wondering what's going on, left alone in the dark garage all week.

Only one car? Don’t worry about it. 3 or more cars is when it gets interesting

:notsure: no sirens or anything. just odd time of day to be paying anyone a visit.

oh yeah had that a couple of times.
drug dealers across the street about 2.5 years ago. kinda thought something was going on for a while - cars showing up for 10-15 minutes at a time, couple dozen every night. then one night all hell broke loose and i dont know what happened but someone threw a kitchen chair through the front window and a fistfight broke out in the front yard. middle of winter, near 0 mind you. cops came. property manager came. sun came up. property manager boarded up the window. couple hours later the people came back with a u haul and were gone within a couple hours. hell of a way to move our....

oh, and last winter...again, near 0 outside. i hear some shouting and take a peek out my front window. cops have a neighbor (same building as the above incident) handcuffed to a patio chair in the driveway. he's calling the lady cop lots of bad four letter words. his girlfriend/wife is out there with their infant daughter. i halfway wanted to go out there and ask her to give me the kid just to get her out of the cold but didn't want to get involved because this dude is completely off the charts psycho. so they're out there for nearly an hour and he's screaming "i know my rights" and such BS over and over. first it was just the lady cop and her partner. then another cop car shows up. then a sheriff's car. they finally hauled him away. i had to give a little nod to the lady cop...some jerk talked to me the way he was talking to her and i would have tazered his ass. he's gone for a couple days then back home. while he's gone the landscaping/snowplowing company he had worked for comes here and takes the company truck. and there's a burned spot on the sidewalk. i don't know what the dumb ass did but i think he maybe got pulled over for DUI in the truck and got his ass fired. then tried to set the truck on fire. they lived here about another month after that and just about every day i caught him looking out the front window when i was leaving and getting home from work. before they moved in i almost never used my deadbolt - now i use it every single time i leave the house. freaking creeped me out.

funny thing is the property management company that rents out that building does background checks on all tenants. think they need to be a little more thorough.

    Hows everyone today?

I did yard work. Husband had to go into Zion... They're slowly trying to close up, lock up and ready for the (not soon enough) closure of the park.
Some asshat broke into a locked campground bathroom, broke the tp holder off the stall, took the tp...
Some other asshat (could be the same, I dont know) broke into the on-site daycare center in the NPS housing area. Took all the tp, cleaning supplies, paper towels... I highly suspect this was an employee. Average visitor doesnt know its the daycare center, as its in a house that looks just like all the others. And that it was unoccupied, they closed it down Friday at EOD.

Met a neighbor. Well, not really a neighbor, he lives in the next town over, but its his horse and cow pasture that I view from my back porch. Was granted full permission to go play with the ponies! This could be trouble.

100% rain tomorrow. Not sure what Im going to find to occupy myself cooped up indoors.

Anyone know if this setup is possible?

GoPro camera, wired/plugged into power, can I just stream that to my phone or even better, youtube? I think I want to set it up on my birdfeeders.

Im looking for good youtube videos on how to's:
Wood staining to make it look like barn wood.
Motorcycle riding on dirt roads/forest roads. Im confident enough on pavement now that I want to get into the back country!
