That's the price on their website even before the magic "get Today's price" button is pushed, so I'd assume they'll at least go a little lower. I paid 32.5 for 2020 OR MT w/ only the LED package ($485), and the rebate is up $500 from when I bought. I'm PNW though so maybe pricing is a little different per region. Also, fwiw I think when I was looking there was a "tech package" ($700 for color bumper + sensors), and a "premium package" ($2k for leather seats, seat warmers, etc), and the LED was a whole other package all together. So all of that together adds ~$3,300 or whatever.

So I picked up a 2020 which had everything besides the Advanced Tech (which is the 360 camera, $740 option), so LEDs, Tech and Prem, Tonneau Cover, MSRP was $44.8k, I got it down to $39.2k before TTL with only the $500 military rebate (opted for the 1.9% financing instead), and was right at 12% off MSRP. This was with a lot of back and forth between 3 dealers here for a bout a month. Should give you an idea of pricing range for a loaded truck like you mentioned.

There's 2 tech packages (one has the 360 camera) and even 2 separate premium packages (one has leather and moonroof other doesnt), thats where they get pricey.

I made that mistake with my Mazda. It was used, but I got everything minus sat nav. Leather, heated seats, this that and the other thing. Sunroof.

Hated the sunroof. Used it ~2 weeks out of the year, paid extra for it, useless. And had to keep up with cleaning the drains. Coworker had a rock shatter her sunroof too. That's not common, but still not something I want to have to deal with when I hardly ever used it. Heated seats were awesome, but without leather, I really don't feel like I'm missing them. With leather my toosh would be frozen. I have white-as-LED HID headlights in there, cost ~100 bucks, worth it, and when a bulb goes it's 20 bucks to replace the bulb (balance of the cost is the ballasts).

Honestly looking back and doing it again, I'd just get the SR. But I've always wanted an off road, and it wasn't much more expensive (when they were still newer in 2020) for the same DCSB/V6/4x4 setup.

Last week I purchased a 2020 TRD sport double cab 4x4 SB, cement color, Tech pkg, pred steps, blackout pkg, bedlights, mudflaps. Negotiated rubber floor mats into the deal. My trade was an 2015 f150 4x4 long bed xlt with 36K miles. I researched how much I wanted to finance, how much I wanted for my truck and what it was worth, and Where I wanted to be with interest rate. I went to dealer thinking that with my trade I wanted my payments to be $350/month for either 60 or 66 months however way they were gonna tweak the numbers. I got it after about 4 hours in the dealership and much negotiating. Got 24K for my truck. I think that the reason I got it was because when I went I had it in my mind I was not going to get it the first day and was willing to walk.

Same for Chicagoland area and when I bought in NJ. When I was stationed in AZ, they sell more Tacomas than Corollas so easy to get a deal.

I bought pretty much this same truck about 3 months ago for $33,800. Sticker was $38,800. If you are serious shoot for a price of around $33,000, you have leverage because of the current state of the country and also rates have improved.

You can try but no guarantees, I think depending on the sticker and their willingness to deal they’d let it go for 33k maybe 32k

Hardly. Have you looked at the MSRP on a fully loaded 2020 TRD OR, $45k. You’re not going to do much better than $6k off.

2020 Pros are $46k plus and you’re not going to get one for $39k. MSRP, or maybe $1-2k off if you find a desperate dealer.

    $44-46k is a far cry from $39k...

Your pushing it with $33k let alone $32k even in this market. Again 10-12% off MSRP, your not gonna get them to come down $7k, let alone the $8k he’s suggesting.

You’re gonna get laughed at even in this market with that offer but you could always try. First Tacoma / Toyota? Again, as I told mentioned to ya before in a prior post from someone who has had 12 of these trucks, 7 new, 4 different regions purchased from, 10-12% off MSRP maybe 15% with rebates factored in. There’s a reason they hold resale.

    $38,800 - (38,800 x .12) - 1500 (rebate) = $32,644, just depends on how bad they want the deal

For sure, $32.6k I guess to me is closer to $33k than $32k, lol. Exactly and they can always manipulate another aspect such as APR or fees, trade.
