Got a shop to put my coils together and this is how one of them came back, saying they are 700lb coils so they are just stiff and compressed , should settle once under the truck .. truck likely weighs 700lbs lol, I assume this needs to be taken and fixed elsewhere or has anywhere seen this ?

    Never enough
Did some maintenance. Oil change, added a Fumoto valve. Changed plugs at 55k, original factory mismatched plugs were in there. Didn't look too bad but glad I changed em. Cleaned MAF sensor and throttle body. Truck seems like its running smoother after the work, even though it didn't seem like it was running rough before it. And just because I'm bored and the lady isn't back from work yet pulled off my front grill which had been Plastidipped white and was starting to look like shit after only a few months and decided to try black. Will post picks of the grill afterwards. Need to bite the bullet and get a new non chrome grill and have it painted to match properly.

    Fumoto valve

    Cleaned MAF sensor

Why did Toyota use two different manufacturers for plugs on the 4.0s, I know it’s been pointed out before on TW, but I can’t remember if someone gave the reason?

I picked up 6 Bosch 9613 Double Iridium OEs for my 90,000 mile plug replacement, anybody using these?

For about $200 you can by a color matched one.

Social distancing is giving me a chance to catch up on projects. Mounted the new to me RTT, pulled my sliders for paint, installed the Dobinsons snorkel, added a rigid 20in hyper spot to the bumper, installed my single Rotopax mount on my swingout instead of the 3x3gal mount for now, and took the family exploring in the woods. I had to remove the Baja Designs squadron pros from the ditch mounts because they were hitting on the snorkel body with the CBI mounts, so may order some s2's and move these to my fog slots. Also realized that my dog loves to find a way into my pics when we ride around. IMG_20200322_154052_844.jpg RTT.jpg

Looks like they bent the shaft (giggity) when they mounted it up. Definitely messed something up. Do not install!

Thanks! Probably my favorite mod on the truck. Definitely changes the look of the front end.
