Weekend too. Have fun! Everyone goes early thinks they'll beat the rush. Go at like, 3. Rush gone, restocked, nobody there.

My local shaws has signs up requesting (since they can't demand I guess) 7-9 AM daily be for the elderly folks. I thought that was cool, I think other places are doing that too.

Yikes..what a pain about your trip, though that's obviously not the worst thing overall it's still a pain in the skull.

2 out of the state isn't a horrible way to look at it, of course if one of the 2 was someone we know it sucks but I get it.

We're due for 5-10 inches tomorrow, by the looks. Already pulled the plow off the ATV, but I guess I wouldn't want to use that at this point anyway--it'd tear up the ground pretty bad.

Right, and two today is 20 tomorrow and is 2,000 next week, 20,000 the week after. It's no joke, it's just one of those thoughts that comes out of frustration. As such, I've been following every guideline to the letter pretty much.

[IMG]Seats by Mike M, on Flickr

I did finish the Vette seats last night. I'd give myself a B. They're not perfect, but they're decent enough. The foam is the original on the passenger side (left) and new on the driver side (right). The replacement foam and cover fit didn't go together quite as well as I had hoped they would. I also have a few wrinkles, but supposedly the sun/heat will remove those gradually, or I can heat gun them like I did the passenger side (the upper side bolsters on the passenger side looked like the driver's side before I treated them).

To make a long story short, they're plenty decent for a driver quality car that cost me $600 in material compared to probably $1,500 to have a pro redo them. My perfectionist streak doesn't like that they're not perfect, but they're very comfy and compared to the great looking but painfully uncomfortable seats, that's a step up.

that blows. We’re set for zero down south here. Raked up some winter leavings today but decided not to throw down seed just yet. Hope I don’t regret not getting a food chunk of rain.

A wise move anyway, especially where I have high risk people in my life. I can avoid seeing my parents for instance, but Cupcake is high risk and that's not so easy. Cleaning up the weight room today just in case something happens, that's the only room we could use to separate and close the doors.

Seats look killer man, nicely done. Like you said for a daily they ain't gotta be precise, first time you sit on them they ain't new.

I went to Shaw’s today in Barrington ri around 330. I needed milk and yogurt and was braced for the worst and maybe finding no milk or yogurt.

found milk. Yogurt. Unfortunately no gnocchi I wanted to make for dinner so I got tortellini instead. Plenty of canned goods and plenty of fresh meats and produce. And prepared foods.

I think the worst of the panic is over, we just have a still weak supply chain.

My work gave me a letter to show police in case everything gets shut down, and I get stopped while traveling. Apparently my job is "essential to helping people deal with the virus". What's weird is I haven't seen any traffic cops, or really any cops at all.

They're all in CT and on the Mass Pike! I did a run to NY on Saturday and saw tons of cops on the short stretch of the Mass Pike that I drive and all throughout CT!
The reason you probably got that letter is less for the cops though. As crazy as it sounds it's probably for the National Guard since they have been deployed in neighboring Massachusetts!

    Crazy times!!!

I wish I could say the same thing for Market Basket in Bellingham! No real meats to speak of. I did get the last 3 cans of peas but they didn't have anything else as far as canned vegetables!

Yeah this isn’t China. They can shit down business and stop large gatherings but they can’t just set up road blocks. If a state tried they’ll get called on they BS in a heartbeat. I actually read a headline (sorry wasn’t the whole article) that a group was suing NH already for their constitutional right to gather and the gubment had no right to restrict those gatherings.

Anyway they wouldn’t waste the resources since so many people are considered essential. Wouldn’t be worth the time to do what, tell someone they have to go home? They won’t be arresting people....

Know its further for you, but worth checking out Big Y in Milford if you need to. I've gone a few times since all this started and TP/Paper towels/Disinfectant wipes were they only thing they were really out of. Granted, I didn't take a close look at the meat section since we don't buy any. But overall they seem to be in pretty good shape as far as supply goes. They weren't insanely busy any of the times I went, either. If you do go there, just bring bags because they are bagless now and charge $.10 per paper bag.

What's all been happening since I been gone? Everyone got toilet paper still? Maine shut down all grooming operations so my snowmachining days are over for this year even though there is easily 2 or 3 weekends left of unreal trails. I was up to my belly button when I stepped off the trail in Hamlin, Maine on Friday. Shame because I might just screw it and take a sabbatical here for this thing. That's if I don't get laid off. o_O

Work is all stressed, people are freaking out, jobs are shutting down, this fucking blows...
