    Depends on a lot of factors.

    1400w max or RMS?

    Do you frequently have on electrical-heavy features? (Headlights, A/C, etc)

    do you plan on running this system at full power for long periods? (75% volume for several hours on a road trip) or do you listen to lots of podcasts and audiobooks at normal volume and then the occasional jam session?

    do you drive at higher or lower RPM’s?

    Are you actually towing anything?

    they set aside a LOT of power for towing functions (charging circuit, brakes, etc.)

    I do a lot of 1000w RMS sub amps in a lot of different vehicles (many of which have smaller alternators) and don’t typically have issues.

    just subs?
    Lots of sub power and a bit of highs?
    Half subs, half highs?
    Mostly highs with a little bit of sub?

    what type of music?

    Running it for about an hour a day, maybe a little more.

    Thanks for the video.

    I've been doing more research, and my Yellowtop should have a resting voltage of 13.0-13.2V. Mine rests at 12.3V, even with the HBK voltage booster. I'm looking at a Mechman alternator. A sticker wouldn't keep up with my amps and other electrics in the truck. Thanks all, thank God for tax returns.
