Last couple weekends.....installed Reese TowPro trailer hitch, DIY BPV bracket, touched up frame with Krown spray (but I found a rust hole:annoyed:). On a postive note, I bought a set of 2020 Charcoal SR5 16" wheels for my truck. Excited to get these installed. :bananadance:20200314_191500 (1).jpg

I had the silver version of those wheels. Liked them but could never love 'em cause of their backspacing and how far in towards the frame they sat.

I replaced my trans mount in similar condition and it helped with vibrations. Granted I was chasing vibes at idle while stopped (turned out to be the exhaust bouncing around and a specific frequency).

Yea, mines only at certain points when accelerating or maintaining speed, and it feels like the driveshafts gonna come through the floor.
I greased the ujoints and the slip thing (didn’t take it apart to do so, so didn’t really do much), seems like it might have helped.

So I guess I’ll be looking at the ujoints again

I would still replace that mount anyway since it's obviously broken. It is most likely making the vibrations worse.

And it's hard to tell if a ujoint is bad sometimes. You may need to remove them to tell.

they are by Mercer fab. The Original frame plates actually before anyone else made them.

    No longer made though.

    3/16''.

I install those ones. I like the design better than the other ones out there because of all the holes.

I did a search on them and didn't come up with anything, so that's why I asked.

You mean to say that you don't like the design of the ones with the holes for plug welding?

No I like the Mercer plates better because they have bigger holes and more of them.

    Oh gotcha.

Got any pics? Haven't been able to find any in my searching.
Trying to decide on which plates to get that cover the most area. I like how the FROR ones cover a lot of the frame rail, but they're only 1/8" thick.
