We have always stayed pretty stocked up due to living in MT for 19 years and CO the rest.

Local grocery stores and super Wally World.

Rice would be a good find right meow.

I had 62 rolls of TP when all this started a few months back. I usually keep a stash of 35 or so with the bug out shit. My queen has been rolling her eyes about this for the past 19 years. She isn’t rolling her eyes anymore. We have given some of it to the elderly that didn’t have room to store up supplies.
As soon as the shitstorm with the TP happened, I ordered a box of 80 that should come in this week. My friends and family will have clean asses.

To put in perspective, I have only purchased three 4 roll packs since this happened, and I was lucky I found that in one place. I have went to the store 12 times and my lady has gone 4 or 5 times. Crappy times for sure.

So you are going to think I'm a total hillbilly...

Since we shop at Kings Soopers/Kroger/City market, we get fuel points on the regular. Whenever I need to shop at Home Depot/Lowes, Bass Pro/Cabelas, or whatever I stop at this grocery store and buy gift cards. The money spent is double the fuel points. I also use a USAA CC that give me back 1.5% back on every purchase. So I have quite the system going.

Now to my point. I usually have enough fuel points per month to get 1.00 off per gallon of fuel for 35 gallons two times. Not a bad savings of 70.00 per month. My commuter beater with a heater is a Lexus IS350, so it takes premium fuel. This helps me keep fuel on my property by filling up with 35 gallons at a time and alternate with diesel since my truck and tractor use that. Kinda nice to save 840.00+ per year on fuel since I drive so much (35K year).

We just live 10 miles away from the closest fuel station I would use. We have a mom and pops fuel station a couple miles away, but I've heard some good stories about that fuel. I will not even run my old lawnmower with it.

This also helps when we lose power in storms. I just fire up the Honda Generator. If we have 25 gallons on site, we can go for a while.
