    Well, 32 cases state wide...7 cases ON BASE. HPCON CHARLIE declared(basically SIP mission essential movement only). It's getting real now. By myself in my office, so that's a good thing.

    didn't end up going as the truck we were going to buy and bring back; can't complete the transfer and get insurance for a private sale, as the insurance agent offices are not opening for face-face meeting. Can only do renewals right now. There was no point then in two of us going to just pick up the one piece of gear. Watching the stats on the COVID spread, point made is what we do today to limit the spread shows up about 10 days later, so every day that containment procedures are not implemented really does make a big difference! In Canada we're at a daily growth of 18%, but what makes me nervous, is without broad testing, the analysis out of China & Italy is that they were only catching one in seven with limited testing. Then again I understand that errors in testing can cause problems as well, but in my mind it makes sense to know more vs less. We be at war with a common enemy we can't see. Aurgh.. time to get my head wrapped working on something else.

    Indeed...to quote the 5th Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force (ours), Robert D. Gaylor as he told me one on one at my SNCO prep seminar during a break, "worry about what you can control."

    Nineteen years after he retired he was still making the rounds and mentoring folks. Thanks for sparking my recall of him. :)
