Yes, my dad, brother and I back in our younger days used to run over 300 traps twice a day. We were poor folk and needed the extra money from hide sales. Mom and grandma used to soak them in buttermilk and cook like squirrel or rabbit. It wasn’t bad, but we were also hungry. The only thing I only had once and would probably die of starvation before I ate it again was possum. Very greasy and a very odd taste. I do not recommend.

 

Same here. Most schools in the area are taking it a few weeks or a month at a time before they revise for a longer shut down. I know people hate the unknown but I think it's adding to the panic of schools preemptively closing out the entire school year.

 

As of now, my work has closed all buildings in CA until April 10th, but that can certainly change.

 

Am I the only one waiting for something to jump out and attempt to scare me.

My dad ran traps for a few years also. I remember at the time he was getting $7 for muskrat, several years later muskrat dropped to $.25.

We're not sure yet. He was given 4 years tuition free, we pay room and board. I'm thinking we'll hopefully get a partial prorated refund.

 

Logically speaking it should at a minimum be prorated in return if the leaving was involuntary. Not sure the whole story... just a thought! I'd rage!
