Hello all! Couple of years ago I was able to obtain a set of front coil overs from a Baja and assume I’m ready for new shocks and want to keep the 650 coils. Any advice for the best shock to purchase and have the coil swapped over to in order to get it as close to stock if not better?? Thanks in advance and glad I found this thread. I’ll start reading though all the pages.

Thanks tremendously if that was meant for me lol. I was trying to read more into the third gen TRD Fox shocks to see if those would be compatible with my 650 pound springs. I guess I’ll just keep reading and also checking out the billy 6122’s and 5160’s.

As stated above, 6112 are for the front. 5160’s are for the rear. Someone else just asked the same thing and I believe what came out of it is the 6112’s don’t come without the spring. So you’ll have to buy the whole coilover.

The 650lb coils unfortunately are not compatible with the 3rd Gen TRD Fox shocks

After driving around a little for the last couple days, I’m very happy with this setup. I’m glad I did it. I’m am now on a complete Fox TRD Pro 3rd gen suspension. As well as the icon rxt leaf pack on option 1 and icon Uca’s with the delta joint.

Awesome man!! I'm now piecing together a very similar setup for my truck and cannot wait to feel the difference. You inspired me Haha. Glad you like it and kept the board updated with your beautiful beast of a ride.

Are you planning on trying to fit the spacer kit for the brake line?

As of now no. I don’t have the need because I never off-road.

I forgot to add that I also have the 1/2” spacer added to the coilovers giving me an approximate front lift of 2.25”-2.5” and the rear at 1.5” to 1.75” over stock.

the truck rides so smooth and plush. I can’t get over the feel of the rxt’s....
