Alright Fellas. I came across one of Jeff Williams YouTube videos tonight about gold and geology I thought I would share.
In case you don't know, Jeff is certifiably nuts, and his videos are over the top. But he really knows his geology!
In this episode he visits Chloride and Mineral Park in the Cerbat Mountains near Kingman, AZ. And he visits the GoldLady prospecting shop in Kingman.

When you are stuck social distancing, even Ol’ Jeff Williams is worth watching, in fact, I’ve been streaming him right here all day, that’s right boy! And you should too cause he’ll learn you a thing or two boy!

Yeah it’s true, I have been watching a lot of them lately. Can’t you tell? You’re right, he does know his geology really well. He’s worth watching for that alone, and you have to admit, there’s some pretty funny parts to it also...

I haven’t seen this one though, it’s interesting thanks!

Yep. I kinda wish I had stopped there on my recent trip though Kingman.

 

The guy can be a riot, but I have to be in the mood for him. He does know his stuff, though!

He is very knowledgeable regarding gold prospecting/mining. He has quite a few vid's out on the subject.
I watched one of them when I first picked up a Garrett ATX machine and was kinda put off by his demeanor. I am glad that I watched more of his stuff, though. I have gained a fair amount of insight.

I like his advice about prospecting in general “keep it as a hobby”.

Did that guy ever finish digging that 30' hole in his basement to recover them gold bars?

 

Not sure. I think he quit posting because folks were making fun of him...

I got some gold bars, but I left them out in the rain and they all rusted.

I actually painted one gold and let the neighbor kid dig it up on April 1st a few years ago, his dad fell for it even harder than he did. Funniest thing you ever saw!
