While it was dumping in NorCal, the desert was sunny and pleasant......

Nice shots. Looked to be a really good trip. The warrior face looks a little like Wilson.

Anyone gonna be in the Reno/Tahoe area this coming weekend of the 27th that's up for some snow wheeling?

Haven't really done much offroading in deeper snow before, but I know that you definitely don't wanna be doing that with only one vehicle.

Distances will be kept in check :anonymous:

If my hunch is correct, you won't want to be doing that.

Plans are tentative for now, but hopefully the situation doesn't escalate to that point. Time will tell

Im not sure if @ian408 is referring to the COVID-19 isolation or the amount of snow you're thinking of venturing into! I was up there last weekend, and have NEVER seen that much snow, that quick.
12 hours before this photo, this car was clean and drove us home from the mountain!
I'm all for being outdoors, and snow (from Colorado) but based on what I saw last weekend, unfortunately, I wouldn't be too quick to jump onto any backroads up there. I'm already going stir crazy and would love to find a place to get away for a couple days, I'm just not sure Tahoe backroads are the place to be this quick after that storm... :(

Talked to the clerk at the quick stop right by sly park ref area. He said that last storm hit harder than anyone thought. PGE was still restoring power and running new line as of yesterday

Both. It's supposed to ra in, or at least chances of it, for the week. But honestly, we shouldn't be out and about for anything that's not necessary. I know, I'm over being cooped up too. But the last thing I really want to do is give something to someone I don't know.

Anyway, I think you're gonna start seeing a lot more enforcement actions. Whether you get a ticket or a warning, idk. But I bet it's going to happen.

Wow. I knew the sierra's have been getting a lot of snow recently, but not to that extent. Thanks for the heads up. Nevada desert sounds more appealing than chancing it in some iffy weather.

You could be right. But hard to say, I feel like every hour I hear some new rumor about what might happen next.

I know, everyone’s good bro. Baby kinda held me back lately plus had to move to the Bay. So just been itching lately to go out and play. How’s your family?

    Some really cool shit

Went out Saturday to a spot near the Sierra Buttes. Only made it a few miles before it was too deep for trucks. Would have been fun on snow shoes.

Looks like a good time. Hoping to get my gear break in done soon so I can get a little snow wheeling in before the season's over

I thought the 500 mile break in was gonna take a while for me, but it went by surprisingly quick. Less than 2 weeks I think.
But then again that was when I wasn't working from home...
