Started my temp stereo build while I have my android headunit out and taken apart. Right now I have my android headunit feeding into a audiocontrol DM810 with RCA cables, but since I will be putting the factory headunit back in for a little while I needed something to convert the line level to RCA. I picked up a lc2i from @CLVol1255 to give me some signal to the DM810. The DM810 has line level inputs, but I didnt want to get more speedwire, run them under the carpet and then to the DM810. So I will be doing it this way for now. I am going from 4 channel in -> 9 channel out, to 2 channel in -> 9 channel out. So fader will not do anything, but thats fine with me since I never use the fader anyhow.

The android headunit is getting taken apart, I will be installing a 40mm cooling fan and a heatsink. I will also be trying to upgrade anything that is in there that I can. I will update my android thread in the audio forum with pictures of the inside of the joying android headunit.

No time to work on the truck for a few days now, but my @MESO Stage I Total Tail Light kit arrived today. Can’t wait to install the lights.

Been trying my hand at vinyl wrap. These dash trim pieces are a PAIN IN THE :censored: to get right! I finally got it to a point where I can live with it... for a while... I'm not sure if I'm sold on the red accent trim but it may grow on me. A couple bubbles and imperfections but meh... not so bad for my first try. 20200323_163201.jpg 20200323_163121.jpg

Thought about it but I wanted to do something I could remove easily if I didn't like it.

Bartact, they make seat covers for Jeeps, Tacoma's and some military products (used to be called Trek Armor). I've put about 15k miles on em and they've held up great - dog hair comes right off (doesn't get woven in/stuck), and they're easy to clean (I've just used a rag and water to clean up chocolate and other food stains). After a year of hard use they're just showing a little color from wearing jeans every day and could use a retightening. Before install I did spray with fabric guard cause I was a little worried about the light color. No regrets so far.

Do those ARex headlights come with the conversion cables to make it a plug and play? Or were they extra cost?

Like Nomad 26 said. That's where I got mine. Pull the old MicroSD card out, pop the new one in and you're all set.
