Kudos for resolving this in a civilized manner and in a way that involves beer.

Hahaha it's an Anderson Manufacturing AM 15. It's an inexpensive AR I got used from the local pawn shop for $360. Between the ammo, mags, and gun I have about $520 into it (not including the red dot which I'll keep). New the rifle is around $800 on budsguns so really I'm just asking new price for it. I don't expect to sell it but if I do, I won't be sad with a nice profit. Use that to buy a nicer AR once this all calms down.

Rock on. Keep the mags and ammo if you're replacing it with another AR.

I have a couple of stripped lowers stashed away. I should build one into a carbine.

Yes, yes you should! And it's chambered in 300 BLK which is part of why I listed it. It's fun to shoot but ammo is expensive. I'd replace it with something chambered in 5.56.

Ah. I have an AR in 300 BO that I started building 5+ yrs ago and have never finished. It just needs handguard, flash hider and optics installed to be shootable.

that mud hole close to the beginning isn’t anything to worry about. It was “soupy” when I went saturday. 2wd wasn’t a issue.

It was more like clam chowder today. Pretty sure I could have made it but i dont have any recovery gear (yet) and there was no one on the trail, so didn't want to chance it and make a dumb mistake.

Wow, that sucks, really sorry to hear that. We need to figure out a way to do both, contain the virus and go back to normal living, otherwise, the economic effects will be felt long after the virus is contained.

That’s why I listed it high, at $900 without red dot and $1150 with. Basically MSRP for it all so it’s high, but not too absurd price gouging, at least IMO. So far no bites though which is surprising.

Yes gun stores around the DMV barely have any guns let alone no store had an AR-15. I bought a smith and Wesson m&p 15 sport 2 last week from a store called BIG DOG OUTFITTERS. They still had good amount of guns and ammo. They are located in King George.

Was also talking with the owners while there and they were saying how the government had already reached out saying they were getting ready to stop the sale of firearms. So get them while you still can!

List it high and if you sell it, cool. If not, nothing to lose. That’s where I’m at with it. I’m pretty impartial if it sells.

    Hahah, exactly!

I've never seen people so enthusiastic to buy a .40 Tupperware Smith and Wesson handgun before, but I'll take it!
