Any one know where I can get my hands on a full bed for an 86. My Dad's been searching for one for years now and we've only been able to find pieces (fenders, tailgate, etc) but no full bed. After years and years of being covered in FL/GA clay and baked in the sun it has some serious rust damage so the whole bed needs an overhaul. Thoughts?

Here's my dads '82 BJ40. I'm trying to decide whether or not I should buy it from him and throw a new tub on it... It's got a 12,000lb Warn, and front/rear ARB air lockers.

Yeah, diesel. It only has 80,000 original kilometers on it, too...
A lot of guys do aluminum tubs, which is the back end (you can see a little rust where the inner fenders are welded onto the "quarter panel")

    Pretty sexy.

Finally got around to taking a pic of my Dad's 86. Note the glorious ghetto vents. It took alot of mud and rust to make those. Haha.

Not a bad idea, but it's still his project (for now ) and he wants to find an entire build out bed w sides and all. I think he can go w/o the tailgate since the current one is still pretty solid.

I tried convincing him to come out to Orlando and Ocala, but he doesn't take it off road any more. It's been sitting in the backyard and driven once every few months for the last 2 years or more. All that damage is from the late 80s, early 90s. I've managed to get him working on it again recently however so I'll see if I can push him into coming to the Citrus meet.

EDIT:: We have replaced the CV joints and dropped a new engine in it over the past few years so it's not totally neglected. If he thinks about selling it though, I'll be sure to post it up for you guys first.
