Some OGD 114 in a glencairn made by @Kanyon71. I was out today & came across a bottle of George Dickel BiB. I had it in my cart, rung up & card in the machine when I second guessed the $99 price & chickened out. Pretty rare bottle but I just couldn't swallow (pun!) $99 for a bottle none of my friends have tried & can vouch for.

I had FOMO on that dickel bottled in bond and bought 3 when it first released. Decent sub $40 bottle but I was mixing it to move on to something else by the end. This was all pre hype and I feel the odd man out now. Was a miss for me but I still encourage you to try if you get the chance cause my opinion ain't nothing to your tastes. But not for $99 :cheers:

Yeah I know $39ish is MSRP & misunderstood the guy when he said "my price is $39". I didn't know that was his wholesale cost before his 300% profit margin lol. I need Total Wine to stock it since they always sell at MSRP.

'Twas I. I think I shall crack it open tomorrow... Did you have some tonight? I've got a bit of Glendronach to finish before I open another bottle. Tonight was all Nippon. Nikka From The Barrel is good stuff!

I was going to have some, but we started watching 'Dave'. That show is too low brow for scotch.

    Maybe tomorrow.

The one with Kevin Kline? Love that movie. Yeah, I think PBR or Jack Daniels would be appropriate for that movie.

I'm talking about the new show on FX. The lead is played by a guy known as Lil Dicky. He is kind of a viral sensation on YouTube. Goofy white dude that is a really good and clever rapper. His stuff is funny as hell. I'm not much at all for rap, but I've been a fan of his for 6 years or so. Now he has a show that is kind of a funny telling of his attempt to become a serious rapper. Very loosely based on the real story.

Here is one of the first videos that had me hooked:

This one with Snoop is pretty good, too:
