Mini bikes are taking over! And those dang Harley owners.

 

I just took a ride in the rain and 45 degrees, just to see how I would handle it. It wasn’t bad!
I wanted to test my gear for those kinds of conditions so I would know what to expect if it happened during an actual commute or trip. This was somewhat of a controlled experiment.

 

@uhplifted did you get the email from Harley saying you can make payments online? but nothing about deferring payments like all the other bill companies

 

You my friend are a thorough rider/practicer.My experiance with a bike with no storage.You dont ride if it is forcast to be crappy.If you do get caught in the rain unprepaired you learn to talk to youself. By the way if you want experiance rain riding o it with no rain gear.When cold rain water runs down your crotch you will invent new words. Keep up the hard work.

on/around April 7 I can try to get my project bike titled. Then Ill be searching for a YZ426/WR400 kick start pedal and brake lever

 

Is there no way you can use an electric starter?

 

hmm, I havent looked into that. Still an hour left of work, I will look around. I also dont have a battery or a way to stop the engine. My neighbor has a gas bladder.

I am not good with electrical in the least bit, but I think that is when the stator and cdi box come into play...

Exactly the same way they run with a battery

They don't run off the battery, they start with the battery (or a kick)

 

I need a headlight and tail/brake light.. will they run also? What about the engine stop?
