Hello,
I just bought a new 08 prerunner so I decided to join this site to learn more about the vehicle and find different mods. It looks like I'll be able to find most of my answers on here. Looking forward to hearing from some of you guys. I just sold my Z71 Tahoe and they had a site just like this. Its very helpful.

explain the carolina alliance!! Sounds interesting

 

Ok let me explain the Carolina Alliance.

The Alliance is comprised of members of TW that live in NC or SC or the surrounding area.... at least thats how it started. Now we have members from Cali, Canada and even Texas (our rival state and sworn enemy). Basically when the word spread about what the Alliance stood for everyone wanted to join. What do we stand for you ask?

1) All members must love beer (or some form of alcohol) and prove it by being drunk on a somewhat regular basis.

2) All members must be 100% lazy and unmotivated at all times.

3) The Alliances official pass-time is sitting on the couch watching TV drinking beer (unless off-roading in your Taco or working on your Taco)

4) For some reason Texas is our rival state and all Texans are our sworn enemy.... i cant remember why or how this started but it's too late to change it, its in our creedo. (This rule is tricky since one of the two moderators on this site is a Texan, but he's actually in the Alliance so.... whatever...)

5) You must make fun of Texans, thier 10 gallon hats, their horses and their cattle whenever you get a chance

6) At some point we are going to have a Tacoma Meet for the Carolinas and do some off-roading, you must try to make it to these events whenever they take place... unless you're too drunk, then we understand.... or really interested in a TV show and dont want to move from the sofa, that is also an acceptable excuse.

The last step is to PM tcBob and ask him to change the title under your handle to something with the words "Carolina Alliance" in it

If you spend enough time reading old threads you'll eventually come across the posts that led to the development of the Alliance and our fued with Texas. Anyway, join up today!
