Interesting I have one Customer that has loads of freight to California no one will touch them because of not being able to dump the load and drivers spending weeks maybe waiting .

 

We took the Wife’s Crosstrek dirt roading today! I actually love that car.

 

I fully intend to hike once we are in the clear with the weather...

 

I'm hoping this is a much-needed awakening for the country. I've seen a few call this the 9/11 of the new generation, but I fail to entirely see this, given the idiots on the beaches. Still though. I've gotten more waves from citizens in my truck (ff front plate), and in the fire truck then I can ever remember outside of parades and public events. That appreciation nod/wave goes a long way for some of us drowning in the negativity/doom & gloom.

It's refreshing, even have had a few people call and text to donate supplies to us, including Triple Sun Distillery in Newtown, They've donated not only to Newtown Fire, but Newtown Ambulance and now where I work at Middletown. Hell, even my 70 year old neighbor texted me asking if she could donate a box of her N95 masks she got to spring clean her house post-surgery.

Any who... I'll get off my soapbox. back to school crap.

 

After this bullshit we're doing beers & cigars on the porch girlfriend...

 

<3 I'm gonna need it... I went from part-time 9 hour days to full time working 12's with the snap of a finger. Between my school projects (dissecting the failures of 9/11) and this crap at work... Oof

( Pittsburgh) Allegheny Co is getting a curfew. I just now started to work for WalMart which is considered an essential business. (UBER took a dump). WalMart issued me a letter so I can drive past 8pm to and from work if I get pulled over by the cops.

Honestly DGAF, I have NO reason to go anywhere for days. We have everything we need and I can access any system in any HD store anywhere in the country.

It took me a few years after my 9/11 experience in the Pentagon to realize I could use what happened to me to spotlight the bravery and sacrifice of others who did much more. Hell, any time you're still alive to see you're a part of a Smithsonian exhibition you need to celebrate life.

We'll get through this...and sipping bourbon on the porch sounds like a pretty awesome idea.

 

Sometimes Venting gets this type of response !!

Beside without venting to people that can understand may as well mumble to yourself.

 

Starting later then normal for me .

Went to work yesterday we had 6 jobs scheduled only did one that took us 3hrs. 19 ram 1500 electric back slider. Have to remove the rear seats to get to the motor. Such a pita. Me and boss look at each other and said fuck let's go home didn't feel like working in the rain after that.

 

Was up at 5 a.m.
