    It is what it is. I have to try and survive. Last week was the worst paycheck I’ve ever gotten. A whopping 150 dollar check after taxes. There’s no work.

    When I interviewed at my current company, it was explained to me that working from home was a perk, and that they didnt really care where I did my job as long as I was doing it.

    Since hiring in, that perk has been stifled. Things like "well now you manage a large account so we think you need to be in the office more" or "well, working from home is really only as needed" have been said.

    I took those licks...respectfully disagreed, but complied.

    Not anymore. My CEO has shown ZERO forward thinking or planning abilities. It was found out through the grapevine that an employee of ours is in ICU and quarantine at a hospital a couple towns over. Management didnt notify us the possibility that we'd been working with someone who was currently in for testing.

    Due to this, I let them know I'd be working from home from now on and make appearances in the office as needed.

    Yesterday, I was livid. My wife has asthma which has shown major complications when fighting this virus.


    I'm not willing to do this whole dad thing without either her or a suitable replacement for her already selected. So. I need to make sure I dont bring anything back home that might kill her before I'm ready.
