    That's great. Lol.

    I paid 31.6 for a 17' in 2017

Not much..., TRD skid, bed bars, MAYBE the coveted Voodoo toolbox....

Of course... working on a deal for some sliders right now....

I gave up on the adaptive cruise a year ago.... the BSM... THAT I will miss....

And I was considering a Dmax z71... but.... too many issues....

My 2nd Frontier. Only issues with a fan clutch, and the tensioner pulley.

    I will stick with reliability.

The Tacoma is NICER, and LOOKS more badass.....but, that is it.

My last one also had the auto.

My only regrets were, DCLB, 5A, and NOT Pro4x. And getting rid of it.
    All rectified this time.

Nope. As far as keeping it... that is up to her really. Its up to her which she prefers, that wK2 she has down there, or the Taco...neither of which she is in love with

And that was a base TRD, no tech, nothing..... then, they actually looked hurt, when I tried to negotiate, and told them they were WAY off.

If theyd have wheeled, it would be here.....

    Oh well

All the issues I've heard with the collies is the 8 speed, which the diesel has the old 6 that hasn't had issues. I have no need for a diesel, just a want, but couldn't justify spending ~10k more than the tacoma for one.

IF I list anything, I will put it in the Northeast ForSale section.

Second, the sliders I am working on, are for the Frontier...

I rented a Frontier for a week before I bought my last Tacoma. I think my only significant complaint about the Frontier was the seats--the position was better but the seats themselves were horrible. This was an SV, though, so the higher trims might be better. If I went back to a midsize, I'd look at one again.

How are your taxes this year? Folks here are selling their houses left and right.

Tax time is horrific for me every year. I keep it all until I have to pay. But yes, it's looking like a good time to buy right now, and I am looking.

I may be interested in that boat. Would like to see it sometime but wouldn’t be able until next weekend. Do you have any pics of the setup inside?

My only real gripe, was the turning radius. Seats could be better, but, not bad.
Ran my SE(2010) on some good road trips, and it never really bothered me... Guess driving company vans, ANYTHING is better?

Either way. It is what it is.
At least I won't have to sit and wait for a damn fuel pump recall(started cutting out) and some other crap.

I can drop it off, And go from there...

I will try to get some more pics but the boat is uncovered at the moment and now it has snow in it. The carpet has some rough spots that aren't shown in this shot. Passenger floor mostly because my fishing buddy manages a horse barn and we'd meet after work and she'd have her god damn horseshit boots on ALWAYS. Also the rear deck has a big spot that ripped where the driver seat is. It really should all be replaced but the floor is pretty solid for the most part.

Floor goes into the bow as well. It's the most seaworthy 14' aluminum boat I have ever been in. Have fished some very big water with it.

That's a storage locker in front of the console and the livewell (disabled) in front of the passenger. I store an anchor and ropes and misc. in the livewell.

Yeah, forgot about that part. I looked it up and my F-150 actually has a slightly tighter turning circle than the CCLB Frontier I drove and it's about a foot longer and 6" wider.

I actually read something - the frame is wider which allows the wheels to turn to a tighter angle, so the full size trucks can/do have better turning radius.

The turning radius isn't significantly different than a tacoma. It won't beat a smart car though :D

I know the MPG isn't great, but then neither is the tacoma or any mid size, and for how cheap the Frontier is for equivalent bits and bobs, it'd be at least like 100k miles before the tacoma makes more sense. For me the dealbreaker is the adaptive cruise if it's my only vehicle. Maybe in the (near?) future I can have a second car, I'd get a hatcback (probably corolla) with the adaptive cruise and could get any truck I'd want as the second vehicle. We'll see what the future holds. But for now, I'm liking my 2020 6A OR :)

    @taco-houla

I was stoked about the ACC... But, started to get irritated with it....

I drive 1k week on average to jobsites... Rarely us CC. Hell, 5k round trip from to Texas and back... Didn't use it.
The Taco broke me of cruise...

    YMMV...

Look, TSS, works. But, it also did weird shit.
Get into the brakes, the truck will interpret that, and panic stop.

Just lot of little things bugged me.

    Personal preference...
I was looking for low mile 16s and 17s...

In the end... I snagged a platform for good money, that IS reliable, and parts plentiful, even if the aftermarket isn't anywhere near as strong.

    Still a midsized truck.
Still have my bikes, and company truck...
    :notsure:

    Anyway....

I could deal with all this slow-down, and inconsistent work, if the damn weather was WARMER....

There's some truth to that. The F-450 crew cab with the 8' bed will turn tighter than my F-250 crew cab with the 6'9" bed. The reason being, the F-450 has the wide track front axle and the tires can physically turn over further before they make contact with anything. My F-250's turning radius is abysmal, much worse than the F-150 was.

Solid axles and long wheelbases are good for that, lol.
The Ram is the same way; my F150 & Tacoma's could cut a much tighter circle

I'd imagine the Ram 4500 is the same way. Still solid front axle but the wider version of it. It's impressive how tight the F-450 can cut compared to it's F-250/350 little brothers.
