New England will struggle for a bit but I'm sure the Patriots will find their way back to the front within in 2-3 years.
Dallas has had some good players and fans. But the Jerry Jones show will keep blaming and firing everyone else but who he needs to fire the most - himself. Jerry proved his ego was way too big when he parted ways with Jimmy Johnson several years ago.

 

Obrien seems like hes way in over his head and tryna be like bellichik..

 

bellichicks coaching tree is trash for some reason. Tough to run a team like BB, especially if the team struggles

 

Yeah not sure what Billy O is thinking over there. That trade he made with Hopkins is terrible for Houston and HUGE win for Arizona IMHO.

 

You know he is the GM and HC now. They wouldn’t have made him that if he didn’t have the knowledge, skills and abilities. Would they

 

i wouldnt put it past the texans.. they ruined andre johnson, arian foster, jj watt, hopkins and even now watson’s career.. maybe im being too harsh but anything less than a superbowl in all that time really dont sit well with me..

 

yup they all seem to leave NE with huge egos.

im definitely interested in seeing mcdaniels lead a team

 

I know the Pats have been grooming McDaniels to take the reigns after BB leaves but wouldn't be surprised either if jumps before BB retires as coach.

 

Other than luck retiring i dont see why else mcdaniels would turn down the colts

 

Yeah not sure why he got cold feet with going there. I think it might have been a personal thing like his wife didn't like the area or something. Definitely weird.

 

Either Kraft/BB told him to stay for the future or he heard thru the grapevine Luck wasnt coming back

 

Yeah the consensus is that Kraft and BB told him he will be the next HC but I have a feeling something else happened to make that decision.

 

Man im excited for the nfl draft, drafting lamar jackson definitely brought excitement back into the ravens..

im guessing your a Pats fan, is that rumor about deshaun watson to New England getting anyone excited or is Hoyer the future??

 

Yes sir! Long time Pats fan. I think at the moment Stidham is the current plan for the future. Hoyer will be there to coach him up/push him to be better. Hoyer will only see the field if Stidham plays terribly.

There was a little bit of talk about Deshaun Watson around here but the problem would be how would you pay him? The Patriots are currently looking to be pretty close to the cap the next few seasons. Either way, Watson is currently one of my favorite QBs that is playing right now so I would LOVE for him to come here. I know the Patriots would love a QB like him that is a dual threat like Patrick Mahomes. I think that is why they want to try Stidham as he can be a threat running with the ball as well.

Definitely excited for the draft! Lamar Jackson is a beast (had on my fantasy team this year)! Only thing is how durable is he going to be year after year of taking those big hits?

 

I just hope we have a football season this year with everything going on.... I am pissed that it looks like Basketball and Hockey are done... The Bruins were playing so well!
