I'm using this one. It's PERFECT. Puts my phone in the right spot without blocking anything else.

I'll take a pic and show where it's mounted later if you want so you can see how it sits.

I think you answered your own question. Same concept as you don't always need to have your maxtrax on your truck (tho for some reason some people leave them there), I don't always need a tablet mounted in front of me unless I'm actually on the trail or heading towards one.

    @ mwaterous

Reasonable answer. I think a good share of the people however, put their equipment on the DMM and leave it there. That was my thinking.
Second opinions are always eye opening. Thanks.

Same people who get groceries with a full compliment of rotopax. You can't help them, no one can help them. You just gotta let em do their thing.

That would be awesome. I have a suction magnet one that I use to use on my 4Runner but don’t see a good spot for it on the new truck

yeah I have a XS max so it doesn’t fit in that slot, also with the CarPlay plug in at the bottom I either have to let it lay in the wireless charger pad or upside down in a cup holder and my mild ocd loses it lol

No worries. It is self-clamping - when you place the phone in it it automatically retracts the arms to hold the phone in place. I broke my last one overpowering it. This one - not gonna happen. I originally bought one for my wife's car (Prius) and realized it was FAR superior to my own. Wasn't sad when mine eventually broke.

I use the "Unholy Mount" in conjunction with the (much cheaper) Ram mount with absolutely no issues, none. I realize this may not work for everyone but the two together are rock solid and work for me.
Much cheaper and less invasive than many of the other options out there.
    Just my solution.

That's a horrible idea. What time?
Spydertrax 1.25" all around. Gear shift knob earlier today. And then last pic show some Flagpole mud in the driveway. Time for some yard now. Ugh.
