I (and others) had this same issue. Uninstall all versions of FM. Get the one from the recent blog post. Install. Click update.

then you can get everything.

I have tried that multiple times. I get a missing.dll error and flash manager won't work. I have a feeling it has to do with running the latest version of windows. The whole thing is weird. I will appreciate if you can share your file. Thank you.

 

Yes the missing .dll is a bug imho. Search your PC and the internet for it and put in a couple of the OVT folders. Restart and works perfectly

 

I think in the new installer theres a checkbox for install the supporting thing that people were missing.

 

Possible. I didn't see it. Same thing happened in Sept when I installed 1.X FOB.

Honestly the first time since purchase in August. After all the various mods, ADM, 4.88 gears, etc I can shift as I have every other vehicle for the last 45 years.

And it goes like a raped ape.

 

The best part for me is that after 2000 mi or so the tune is holding. No learning to be stupid by the computer. Still pulls hard. Very stable idle with no low end bog. Even works smooth in 4 low with no bucking. Much easier to social distance any other cars on the road now.

How long does it take once you submit the ID to be able to actually use the program?

 

It depends. The REG file comes out of the UK. Other than the time difference, OVT has to submit a request, received the file back, and deliver it to you. Folks have seen very fast turn times, like a day. I think it was two days when I swapped computers and needed a new file. Some folks have had longer waits.

I haven't seen any posts about the situation with the virus quarantine and such.

 

In the past, @OVTune has done a pretty good job with responding to emails and such. I’ve been waiting for a response and the 2.0 OFT files for almost 3 week now.. I’m trying to be patient but it’s getting harder and harder cuz I’m running out of things to occupy my free time

 

That’s unfortunate. I was expecting a few days at most.

 

I am beyond behind right now, and going through tickets on an as needed / emergency first basis. Virginia shut down schools for the rest of the year, my wife works full time, and I got 2 kids at home, so work is a bit messy at the moment, and there is just simply a ton of tickets.

 

PA school shutdown got extended, i dont know how anyone could have ever been a say at home parent....thank god im still working, but the time i am home...man those critters grind on nerves real fast lol. 6 and 8...they think its one big vacation.

 

Freaking teenagers here. One with car keys itching to go hang out with friends.

 

Wife is a nurse practitioner and has to go into the office everyday. I have a 4 month old and 4 year old with me at the house and I am working remotely but we got lucky as one of the daycare teacher is able to come over and help out.

 

Bless your heart haha, the 6 year old is already eyeballing my 86 yota pickup....gives me heartburn just to think about it haha
