Are you running oem UCAs? If so does anyone know will aftermarket UCAs give him a little more drop that might fix maxing out the drop over speed bumps?

I just bought a 2020 Tacoma today and wanted to replace the shocks. The 6112 can be set to the stock height, correct. Also, how do they ride at the stock height? Thank you

Yes, they can be set at stock height. My assumption is that they ride great at stock height. I say this because I'm running mine on the 3 / 2 setting (0.5" above stock) and the ride quality is excellent. It's also worth noting that this is on Cooper AT3 4S tires in a 265/70/17.

Personally, I think using the same preload setting on both sides with a driver side spacer makes a helluva lot more sense to maintain uniform ride and performance.

I just got a 2020 DCLB OR and I'm planning on doing 6112s with 650 lb springs set to level 4 with 1/4" driver's side spacer. I will pair those with 5160s, Deaver HD add-a-leaf kit and 1500 lb SumoSprings in the rear.

I know this will create a pretty stiff ride, but the whole reason I'm doing such a heavy duty setup is to future proof my suspension, as I plan to add a camper, winch, sliders, skid-plates, etc over time. I actually want a sportier ride and handling anyway. Plus, I only plan to spend this much money once. I'm definitely not one of these guys who replaces their suspension every 6 months lol.

Does Headstrong give discounts for positive reviews? Maybe it's my bs detector being a bit overactive, but I get real suspicious when I see glowing reviews popping up all over forum discussions.

That's a bit more lift than I would expect for the 4th setting, especially on a heavier DCLB truck. I thought the 3rd gen 6112s could only lift up to 2" max on DC trucks. I have a 2020 DCLB and I want to wind up with about 1.75" of lift after settling and loading, since I will have pretty heavy constant load. I was planning on going with the 4th slot, but now I'm not sure because I definitely don't want to go over 2" of lift.

Will other DCLB OR owners please reply with their chosen 6112 preload setting and the amount of total lift they got?

Keep in mind that I have a 2013 2nd gen dclb. Your 2020 is already 1 inch higher than mine is stock so yours with the same settings would go up 1.25-1.50 inches with the same things on it.

Anyone else experience very squeaky springs? I’ve had mine on for about 20k give or take and really only do on road driving with the occasional dirt road.

Up front. I understand a little squeak can be normal but this seems excessive. Just going over speed bumps or up a rolled curb is loud AF

Breaking the rules that I recommend against. I'm installing eibach 14" 650lb springs onto the 6112s this week. I added a front bumper and winch and lost about 3/4" in height. I was already at 6/5 clip.

Bilstein 650lb spring for the 6112 is on national backorder. Verified with 4wp and Headstrong does not have them. So I ordered the eibach springs. I'll roll these for a while, will report with how they feel/ride.

Could be your radiator support body mount bushings. I also have a weird squeak up front. Please post back here if you figure it out.

I have at least 45,000 miles on mine without any front squeak from the 6112's. I am wondering if it might be your BJ's, UCA's, or front bushings.

I'm going to replace the front body mounts with energy suspension bushings. Just haven't got around to it. I heard it's good preventative maintenance anyways.

I didn’t consider my UCAs. I’ll have to look into that for sure.
