First. What does SR5 stand for?

Second. I have a 2020 TRD Sport with the JBL system now. It has the most pathetic subwoofer I've ever heard. When I took it out to install the JL audio I had in my 2019 I found out why. It's the lightest and has the thinnest box ever. On the other hand, JL audio has magnificent products. I have a 10 " sub in a custom box that fits perfectly in the place I removed the cheapy from. I placed the amp beside it neatly. Now I am extremely happy.

Sport Rallye 5. The 5 used to stand for a 5sp manual transmission.

Not necessarily. If it identifies as a 5SPD give it some emotional support. Dont be so hard on it.

SR5 was the sportiest standard model back in the day.

Sport Rallye? I'm not sure how the OG options worked, but it might have meant AT? IDK for sure.
