Grille removal question

    I am wanting to paint my grille black this weekend but how do you remove those little tabs I tried to squeeze in on both sides and push up but they weren't coming out and I was affraid of breaking them any suggestions. Also are there any other little tricks I need to know.

    Get a flathead screwdriver or a butter knife or something similar and pry the circle up. Then it pulls from the top out.
