Post this in another thread the other day and forgot to come here. Put some LEDs on my tractor. No big deal. But I had an idea I thought was worth sharing. I used one of the Harbor Freight free magnet bars to mount the rear, so it can be hand-held/relocated as needed. I added an expanded metal grille guard after pics.

Costs: lights $13; switch $9; coiled cord was $20 because I chose hospital grade for durability; misc (wire+tubing, rivnuts, etc) approx $10.

Do you park it under cover? Reason I ask is that I added some LED aux lights to mine as well, but I didn't use a sealed switch and ended up having to replace it after like 3 months because I used the tractor in the rain and then the switch contacts corroded.

I need to get some aux lights on my tractor. Doing anything at night is just dangerous.

I’m not sure what the hell I was thinking not having a compact tractor all these years.

Probably a long shot, but does anyone have a dead/junk gear type hydraulic pump? Looks like the one in the picture. I am trying to find a pressure relief spring. Used on a Wagner front end loader. Two of the fingers were missing when I pulled my pump apart.

These are the ones I used. I now have them on both my trucks, and my tractor. Can't beat'em for the money.

That looks like a really nice tractor. Looks about the same size as mine GL3130 (32hp).

It's amazing what a tractor can do. I have pushed mine really hard over the last 10 years(800hrs), and it just comes back for more. The power is unbelievable. I have 14 acres, partially wooded and a 5 acre hay field. I really couldn't see owning my property without a tractor.

BTW, that chain on my bucket is one really solid upgrade. I just roll bucket forward, hook that chain to logs around which I have wrapped another chain, and curl and lift. I highly recommend that mod.

The side hooks come in handy too.

BTW, man toys.... I have a Harley, a Jeep, and two 1st gen Tacomas. If I were broke, all of them would go before my tractor!

Thank you. Ours is an L2501 HST. 25hp is ok for us, and I don’t have to deal with the emissions equipment.

We purchased it late last year for snow removal and landscaping. 76 hrs on it in 6 months, so not a lot of use but very handy when we do.

Even the small ones make a huge difference. I've only got around 3 acres, but my little 18hp units have made things SOOO much easier over the years.

25hp is plenty for most of us unless you are moving trees. Also, good mid-weight so it doesn't trash the lawn. You got R4 tires, which helps with that too. Good looking tractor.

I totally agree. You have more man toys than I sir. I would love to have a HD.
For now, the Jeep will have to do.

So I’m a super user? Lol

    Bad tech joke.

I do help brushhog neighborhood properties and help with road work. So that adds up I guess.

My neighbor has a pretty cool 40’s tractor, but he gets stuck in the snow a lot with his driveway.

You can see it back there.

This iPhone 11 camera kicks ass. That’s pretty far away.
